“Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker” Custom Integration

FOX NFL Sunday’s inaugural Thanksgiving show on location in NYC presented a natural opportunity to activate a Star Wars “set takeover” of the LA studio while the pregame show was out of town. To promote Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Disney looked to FOX Sports to find an engaging way to showcase its iconic cast of characters and their personalities in key holiday NFL programming ahead of the film’s release. The piece integrated the famous characters within the FOX NFL broadcast on set, including a live toss from talent which aired directly going into break with Disney’s trailer directly following the custom moment in the “A” commercial position.
