“Spider-Man: No Way Home” Custom Show Open

To open FOX NFL Sunday’s Week 12 show in 2021, FOX Sports created a brand new custom integration piece to hype up fans for Sunday. The custom show open is intercut with FOX- produced shoot footage with Tom Holland, trailer footage, and themes from the highly-anticipated film, Spider-Man: No Way Home.

FOX creatively weaved themes of the film into a script that told the story of Week 12 in the NFL – from changing identities to the ability to achieve superhuman feats. For the first time on FOX, Sony unlocked the opportunity to directly integrate NFL game footage with film footage, while the movie’s lead star, Tom.
